21st century business systems

We constantly update our business system to ensure the customer has access to the latest up to date information.

Microsoft Dynamix AX ERP (Enterprise resource planning) software to ensure that all aspects of doing business with FTL Technology is as simple for the customer as possible. We strive to give our customers the information they need, when they need it and in the format they want. 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) – Enables in-situ visualisation of the product in the application. Available for customers to directly download, into their own CAD design suite. Conisio document control software. To ensure the latest issue of drawings and production procedures are ALWAYS the issue used.

Quality systems with are active as opposed to passive

Passive is where one has a quality accreditation and keep it up to date. We operate an active system where we have the accreditation but part of the accreditation includes procedures which must be followed as part of the daily commercial activitie

• Production control checks.
• Part accreditation – batch control and traceability.
• Packaging controls.
• Document controls and supporting paperwork.
• Test and hold points.

All the above is available, either because it is a customer request or we perceive that the parts we supply are critical to the customer’s equipment.

R & D engineering support

Both in house in the UK and where appropriate with our principles, all accessible as required.

• Dedicated trouble shooting resource.
• Help and advice with new applications.
• Installation and hand holding with first time usage.
