Quality

FTL Technology has been accredited to ISO 9001 since 1992, and we believe that this gives a clear message to all, that we have design authority in our projects and component designs.

Whilst being recognised as a key area of our business, having a quality accreditation is not only what quality is about. Quality is part of the culture at FTL Technology and it can be seen in all areas of our daily operation.

When we recognise that a particular enquiry, is outside of, what we would determine to be standard, the enquiry is highlighted and take through well established and proven design control methodology.

Design control involved the compilation of the application parameters. These are then formally discussed by people who have the experience in relation to the application, to ensure that we provide the most practical solutions to our customers problem's.

Over the years this quality approach has resulted in developing many long term relationships, with customers and suppliers. Who in many cases have become business partners.

On a pure quality control note, we have recently installed a new Mitutoyo co-ordinate measing machine to ensure that correct tolerances are being achieved.
